Is Pakistan's Army As Islamist as US Think?

The following article in Foreign Policy magazine is no doubt a foreigner's failed try to comprehend us. It discusses about the penetration of Islamism in the Pakistan Military. C. Christine Fair, an assistant professor at the Center for Peace and Security Studies at Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, relied heavily on the statistical data of Army officer to base the opinion.

The article is written in the context of comparing the two military institutions i.e. U.S. Army vs Pak Army. This approach leads the reader too far from the ground realities. In the US the culture of army is not as prestigious as in Pakistan. The only goodwill source for American military is on the mercy of Hollywood.

The American will not sit back quietly until they succeed in showing that Pak Army recruit same Muslim who believe on the same God as a Muslim in Al-Qaeda. They may even get a Quran with same texture as strong evidence.
On one occasion a respected CFR senior went as far saying that it is the same institution which recruit body guards for governors and nuclear missiles.

It more than crystal clear that the US allied media is engaged in a well organized psychological operation to defame the Pak Army among international population as a supporter of radical Islam, created by US to combat Soviet Union.
